( and here is the problem with the lie, because as much as she tried to tell herself otherwise, it was never going to just be one. it was never going to just be about keeping the future from gansey, it's all the other little pieces that tie into it that spiral into a thousand little lies, one after the other.

It wasn't easy at first, I guess. It's hard when he has a completely different set of memories than I do, but I'm getting used to it. ( that, at least, is absolutely the truth — it's just that she's not talking about adam. ) There are far stranger things to adjust to here than Adam and Ronan, anyway.
