I was trying not to think too much about that part, but yeah. It's a lot.

Effective way to guarantee compliance, I guess. Making us all responsible for each other like this. Right as I thought I was starting to adjust to this place.

That's all I'm trying to do. Normally? These things end in a couple of weeks but the flooding has gone on forever. It shouldn't be long though.

[ But is he sure? The flooding has thrown everything off in his head. ]

I don't get it. I mean, I'm learning to get why some of these things are sexy to be people but people wearing tails? Not sure I get that.
